A Save the Date card I made for my mom’s wedding. It’s a beautiful story…he always had a crush on her in high school, but they went their separate ways, lived separate lives, only to find each other years later. OH MY GOSH, I weep! But anyway, I’m very happy for her and offered to do the Save the Date cards for the occasion (somebody else had called dibs on the invitations, otherwise I would have been ALL OVER THAT.)

Poster for the Northern At Night event at UNC, created for my design internship. This one was a lot of fun to make. The trees are created from a picture I tool of my own jeans, and I ran home at lunch one day to create the paint texture that was used on the bear. It was a fun blend of design and traditional art.

This was the fantastic, fun, delightful, pun-filled special occasion notepad design I made for this agent. Ugh, it made me so happy to send this to her. It was a joke initially, but she enjoyed the design as well.

An elegant, sans-serif typeface inspired by the elegance of Art Nouveau with a touch of clean, light-weight modernity. A project for my typography class in college, created with a fellow student. First, we worked out the designs of the letters together on paper, then split the work to create the letters digitally. I was in charge of the lowercase letters.

Book Jacket Design for Phantom of the Opera. The cover features a book-inspired illustration of the unmasked Phantom, and a sad Christine (which is her general emotional state during the story). The transparent red sleeve hides the manic red drawings beneath, masking them if you will.
